Creative Photography Exercises

Here is how the creative exercise works:

After viewing a slideshow of all the entries, members vote for their favorite image.

The winner remains a mystery till after a brief discussion with our fellow photographers about

each image and its creativity.

All image makers will be asked if they wish to share the story behind the image and

what inspired them to take it. If they choose, they can remain anonymous.

The winner of the image with the most votes will pick next month’s theme.

Past prompts have been “Fences,” “Flowers,” and even “Bathrooms.”

Participants may interpret the prompt as they wish.

Images, including borders, should be sized All page/spread files must be a maximum of 1920 pixels on the longest side and a maximum of 1080 on the tallest side, have an embedded color profile of either sRGB or Adobe RGB1998, and be saved at a JPEG quality setting of 12.

The filename is the Image Title.

To participate, email 1-2 images to our Image Collector – jim@mclaughlinphoto.com by the due date, and they will be added to the slideshow to be shown at the meeting.
